βAt Notre Dame College, we are a Christ-centred, innovative learning community where high expectations and bold faith converge with the virtues of courage, compassion, and hope. Together, we shape young people with brave spirits, strong minds, and compassionate hearts who thrive within the Notre Dame family.
The Brisbane Catholic Education model of pedagogy integrates principles and practices of learning and teaching that ensure success for all learners. These principles and practices are rooted in the beliefs and values of the Brisbane Catholic Education Learning and Teaching Framework and are supported by an evidence base that guides teachers in constructing their practice to ensure all students progress in their learning and development.
Our distinctive Marist style of pedagogy, defined by the five Marist characteristics, and the virtues of courage, compassion, and hope, underpin all aspects of college life. By living the Notre Dame Way, we are committed to unleashing passion, potential, and agency in every learner.
At Notre Dame College, staff, students, parents, and carers collaborate to identify each student's unique talents and tailor an educational program aligned with the latest curriculum developments. Our teachers focus on developing each student's potential throughout their entire educational journey. Through these partnerships, we help all our students develop as Empowered, Connected, and Reflective learners. β

The final phase of learning at Notre Dame College prepares students for entry into the world. Students choose an academic pathway suitable for them and adaptable to their needs. The Senior Phase of learning emphasizes a two-year program. Within Years 11 and 12, syllabi are divided into Units of Learning that do not align neatly with semester or term boundaries. Subject selections made at the start of Year 11 are retained until the end of Year 12, providing a clear pathway to attain a QCE and a foundation for learning throughout the two-year journey.
The College offers a wide range of general and applied subjects for students to choose from. Students may qualify for an ATAR, allowing them to pursue tertiary studies, or they may follow a Vocational Education course. Our objective is to be as flexible as possible to cater to the diverse range of student needs and set every student up for success. The pursuit of excellence is encouraged in all areas of endeavor.
